The New Mt. Zion Musicians and Directors provide oversight of the choirs, praise and worship teams, and musicians. The pastor appoints the leaders of this ministry to direct music throughout the church’s life. These leaders work collaboratively to assist the pastor in planning, conducting, and evaluating a comprehensive music ministry. This also includes using the congregation’s musical gifts to aid praise and worship by leading the congregation to minister to each other through music. These musical leaders share an appreciation of music and foster musical talents and expression among all age groups within the church.
The Music Ministers Ministry highlights the spiritual dimension of music as a means of spiritual growth and development.
