NEW MEMBER MINISTRY

With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the New Member Ministry’s purpose is to welcome and connect newly joined members into a joyful fellowship with our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the New Mt. Zion’s church family. We are a Bible-based church focusing on relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. Our goal is to create an environment of contagious Christianity that influences and encourages the members.
New Member Classes
The new member orientation classes provide the essential introduction to our Church’s Mission, Ordinances, and, most importantly, our Commitments to Christ and His Church. All new members must complete four consecutive weekly classes starting on the first Sunday of each month beginning at 9:30 AM. If a class is missed, the instructor provides assistance with scheduling a make-up class. Upon completing all new member classes, the member receives a certificate of completion at a scheduled church service.
